In personal care, fully automatic bathing machines and smart toilet robots addressed two of the most challenging tasks in caring for the bedridden. For monitoring and companionship, fall-prevention smart rings, AI health monitoring cameras, one-click SOS devices priced at 9.9 yuan (about $1.4), and heart rate and blood oxygen monitors at 59 yuan (about $8.2) were displayed side by side, demonstrating that age-tech is advancing both high-end innovation and affordable solutions. The 2nd Guangzhou Smart Health Care (Elderly friendly) Equipment Innovation Design Competition also held an exhibition of award-winning works at the expo, including AI moxibustion robots, companion devices and rehabilitation exoskeletons.
